Featuring Solutions for Automated Warehouse Migration, Real-time Analytics, and Rapid Application Development on Spark

LOS GATOS, Calif. – Sept. 21, 2017 – Impetus Technologies, a big data software products and services company, today announced it will be exhibiting the capabilities and benefits of its advanced big data solutions at Strata Data Conference, taking place at the Javits Center from September 25-28 in New York, New York. The Impetus team will be located at booth 127. During the three-day event, Impetus experts will be offering product demonstrations and consulting with attendees on best practices in the following areas:

Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Transformation

Impetus Workload Migration is a platform for automating the movement of Teradata, Netezza and Ab Initio workloads from the enterprise data warehouse to Hadoop or other big data warehouse environments. Impetus Workload Migration automates and validates the movement of data and SQL query, ETL and large scale analytical processing workloads to a big data warehouse. Powerful automation is applied to each of the four stages (i.e. Assessment, Migration, Validation, Execution) of a structured, repeatable migration process.

The heart of the automation suite is an intelligent code translation engine. An Impetus team of technical experts will be on hand to provide live demonstrations. Using this technology, Impetus provides a guarantee of eighty percent or more automation for Teradata queries, BTEQ scripts, schemas and stored procedures. Automated migration is also available for Netezza, Ab Initio, as well as other systems.

Advanced Real-time Analytics

StreamAnalytix™ (now known as Gathr), an Impetus product, is the industry’s first open-source based, enterprise-grade, multi-engine platform for rapid and easy development of real-time streaming analytics applications. StreamAnalytix (now known as Gathr) was recently cited as a strong performer in “The Forrester Wave™: Streaming Analytics, Q3 2017” report, and has been recognized in Aragon Research’s latest report “Hot Vendors in AI & Streaming Analytics, 2017.” Impetus will be showcasing the latest StreamAnalytix (now known as Gathr) 3.1 release, which features a number of new capabilities:

  • New enhanced cloud support for Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
  • Rich Data Science Support allows model training, testing and scoring on real-time data. The release also supports execution of H2O models and deep learning capabilities on TensorFlow.
  • Integration of Python’s rich set of Utilities and Libraries.
  • Powerful new processors for missing data imputation and stream correction as well as support for MongoDB.

Additionally, the company will be revealing a new product that will further help address the growing demand for Spark-based analytics and data processing talent by making Spark easy, and expanding the base of users that can build Spark-based applications around advanced big data engineering, AI and machine/deep learning use cases.

“Our goal is to continually provide breakthrough solutions to help organizations solve the wide variety of big data challenges they face,” said Praveen Kankariya, CEO at Impetus Technologies. “Since last year’s conference, we’ve come to market with new and exciting software and services that continue to raise the bar on providing end-to-end advanced big data and fast data analytics solutions.
